You have until Nov 15th to submit to Words and Women’s annual prose competition for women in the East of England and a new national award for women over 40, and Tears in the Fence magazine’s first flash fiction competition is now open for entries, deadline Nov 19th (and not, as mentioned in the newsletter, Jan 7 2017)

Hand of Doom is presenting Spooky Stories for Grownups in Folkestone on October 28th. White Rabbit is teaming up with London Dreamtime to tell Spooky Stories for Familiies at Farmopolis in London on Oct 30th. Flashers Club are holding theirinaugural open mic night on Nov 10th.
