The Lonely Crowd is a Welsh-based print literary anthology published three times a year, featuring new fiction, poetry and photography. Some of the authors we have published to date include Rachel Trezise, Joe Dunthorne, Medbh McGuckian, Alison Moore, Kate Hamer, Jo Mazelis, Gerald Dawe, Valerie Sirr, Tania Hershman, Robert Minhinnick, Matt Rader, Uschi Gatward, Nuala Ni Chonchuir and Shani Rhys James. We also publish occasional online pieces as well as an online series concerning the creative process behind some of the work featured in the anthology.

The Lonely Crowd’s publishing wing, The Lonely Press, will publish two new titles in spring 2017, The Beautiful Rooms by Valerie Sirr and Ergasy by Chris Cornwell.

The Lonely Crowd is edited by Wales Arts Review Fiction Editor, Dr. John Lavin and features regular photographic content by the acclaimed Welsh author, Jo Mazelis.
