“Established in 2012, The Liner is an independent magazine of epistolary writing and art. The writing is focused on the art of correspondence, both imagined and real. The featured art corresponds with the words and our Thornkim Questionnaire sheds more light on each contributor. Our editors are based in Los Angeles, New York, and London. We are an annual print publication.
The theme of our magazine is all things epistolary. This can be works of fiction or real correspondences (letters/postcards/journals/emails/ etc.). If you can scan the actual pieces, even better. Just make sure it’s 300 dpi and 6 inches wide. We are especially interested in works involving humor.
We accept previously unpublished fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, however let us know if it’s accepted elsewhere.
Prose: up to 4,000 words, double-spaced, .doc, rtf, or pdf. One prose submission per reading period. Excess to be deleted.
Poetry: up to 5 poems per reading period.
Please submit your work via Submittable.”
