Talking Tales @ Bath Fringe – 2nd June


Talking Tales iStokes Croft Writerss going back to the Bath Fringe Festival on 2nd June.

You may remember that Banksy came along last year – but was stood up by Jane Austen. So in 2017 there’ll be ‘Even More Banksy…’ as the ever hopeful Stokes Croft Writers take the best stories from Bristol and beyond to grace the stage at Burdall’s Yard.

Talking Tales earned a rare and coveted 5-Star review at last year’s Fringe. In 2017, we want to do even better.

So we don’t just need submissions (all your own work – no more than 7 minutes when read), we need your best work. We need stories that will amuse and entertain a Friday night audience. We need humour and laughs. We need EPIC!

Think shining wit, think props, think glitter and submit your works to by midnight on 19th May 2017.

Banksy at the Bath Fringe? 5th June

More BanksyLess than a week to go before Talking Tales, Bristol’s finest story telling night, hits the Bath Fringe Festival at Burdall’s Yard.

Stokes Croft Writers are hosting a brilliant cast of writers from Bristol and beyond plus quokkas*, zombies** and Banksy***. Live Lit? Oh yes.  You may want to escape to the streets of Paris for a bit of peace and quiet…

* nope – never heard of them either

** heard of them – and so will you on the night

*** in name only…or in person?
