Stroud Short Stories is a non-profit making short story event held twice a year in Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK. Our aim is to showcase and promote contemporary Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire writing and writers. We’ve been going since 2011 and our latest event was our 16th.These days we sell out every time, so tickets are only available in advance from our venue, the SVA in Stroud. Ten authors read a story selected by the SSS judges from the 100 or so submitted each time.
The next event, our 17th, entitled ‘How to Make a Monster & Other Stories’, will be on Sunday 11 November 2018 and is part of the Stroud Book Festival. Check out our website for the names of the Gloucs/South Gloucs authors who will be reading their stories at the event. This event SOLD OUT in 6 hours.
