Stroud Short Stories is an independent not-for-profit live lit event held twice a year in Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK.
Our aim is to encourage, showcase and promote contemporary Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire short story writing and writers. We’ve been going for ten years ie since 2011.
At each event ten authors read a story selected by the SSS judges from the 100 or so submitted each time.
Our 10th Birthday event on Sunday 9 May 2021 will again be on video on YouTube via links on the SSS website. The judges this time were SSS Organiser John Holland and Saboteur Award winning short story author Chloe Turner.
The ten authors who will read/perform their stories are Nimue Brown, Cheryl Burman, David Goodland, Mhairi Gray, Diana Humphrey, Jason Jackson, Sally Jenkinson, Kate Keogan, Nastasya Parker and Sean Quigley.
All the information you need is on our website https://stroudshortstories.blogspot.com/
