Stroud Short Stories is an independent not-for-profit live lit event held twice a year in Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK.
Our aim is to encourage, showcase and promote contemporary Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire short story writing and writers. We’ve been going since 2011 and our next event will be our 20th.
At each event ten authors read a story selected by the SSS judges from the 100 or so submitted each time.
The next event, dedicated to Stroud writer Rick Vick, will be on Sunday 8 November 2020 at the Cotswold Playhouse, Parliament Street, Stroud, GL5 1LW at 7.30pm (doors 7.00).
The theme for this event is DISRUPTION. The authors who are reading their work on 8 November are – Robin Booth, Stephen Connolly, Hannah Glickstein, Claire Harrison, Emma Kernahan, Geoff Mead, Simon Piney, Mark Rutterford, Sharon Websster and Steve Wheeler.
TICKETS priced at £8 will be available later in the year from the Cotswold Playhouse website
