Cafe Aphra is a blog which showcases work by new writers and offers a supportive online writing community. We publish a poem the first Monday of every month and a piece of flash fiction (under 500 words) every other Friday. We also occasionally publish articles, reviews and interviews about writing and would consider having guest bloggers. Submissions guidelines and recent blog posts can be viewed here: Cafe Aphra.

Cafe Aphra is an online publication. Please note – we don’t charge a reading fee and we don’t have adverts on our site, so unfortunately we’re unable to offer contributors payment at this time, but we are very thankful to have the opportunity to share their work with our readers.
