Bad Language is a literature organisation based in Manchester dedicated to the promotion and development of new writing.
Their regular event: Bad Language at The Castle Hotel, has been critically acclaimed, and runs monthly, on the last Wednesday of each month.

They have worked with Manchester Museum, Not Part Of, Literature Across Frontiers, Waterstones, Nightjar Press, Jigsaw and Tindal Street Press amongst others. Their nights have seen performances from the likes of Andrew MacMillan, Jenn Ashworth, John Doran, Jo Bell, David Gaffney, Tom Fletcher, Conrad Williams, Rodge Glass, Stuart Maconie and many more.
They are made up of Nicola West, Daniel Carpenter and Joe Daly.
