Lit Mags & Anthologies
The Ham has launched Issue #2, and The A3 Review instructs you to Behave Yourself and Submit. Here Comes Everyone is calling for submissions for their next issue, ‘Brutal’. The Nottingham Review launches Issue 7 and a call for submissions, and Fictive Dream celebrates their first birthday.

Live Lit & Book Tours
Story Friday is calling for submissions on the theme of ‘South’ for its June event in Bath. Flashers Club brings you news about its next event in August in Cheltenham. White Rabbit is hosting a story cabaret as a fundraiser for Refugee Week in June. Smut Slam iscontinuing its UK tour in May. Talking Tales’ next event is at the Bath Fringe Festival on June 2nd. Also in Bath, the UK’s first Flash Fiction Festival is being held on June 24th and 25th.
Competitions
Don’t miss your chance to submit to the Casket of Fictional Delights’ flash fiction competition – which closes on 31 May, as does the Reflex summer flash fiction competition. The Dorset Fiction Award is accepting entries until 10 June, and the V S Pritchett Memorial Prize is open, deadline 14 June. Ouen Press has announced the results of their 2016 short story competition.
