Are you a budding writer living in the North Somerset or Bristol area? Want to learn how to “keep it short”?
On Thursday 22nd January, Clevedon Community Bookshop will host a flash fiction workshop with Gail Aldin, whose “slim-line” stories have appeared both in print and online. The workshop will explore opportunities to incorporate flash fiction into your creative life, drawing upon examples of the genre at its best. You will also be able to share ideas and prompts for writing, and take away a number of links to websites and journals that publish flash fiction.
When? Thursday 22nd January, 10-4pm
Where? The Royal Oak pub, Copse Road, Clevedon (right next door to the bookshop!)
How much? £30 (£15 for those receiving benefit)

Can you do one in Bristol??
Hi there, unfortunately as we are a small community bookshop we don’t have the resources to host workshops outside of Clevedon. However we are only a 30 min drive from Bristol if you ever fancy visiting! We have lots more courses and workshops coming up, please keep an eye on our website for details: http://www.clevedoncommunitybookshop.coop/
Thanks. If I ever get a car then perhaps I’ll pop over!
