Short Story Sunday is launching in November 2014 and will create an inviting space for readers to enjoy stories from leading published and unpublished authors from around the world, showcasing one short story each Sunday.

We have been working with top-tier publishers and have received submissions from established literary award-winning international authors alongside newly published authors – and now we want talented unpublished authors too.

What We Publish

We are open to most genres as long as they tell a well-crafted story. We will be publishing Commercial, Young Adult and Children’s Short Story/Flash Fiction but there are genres and topics we won’t be publishing – please check the main site for more information on our submission guidelines.

Festive Contributions

With winter approaching we are also looking for festive-themed stories to run over the festive-period in any of the following genres:

– ‘Uplifting’ Christmas Story

– ‘Alternative’ Christmas Story

– ‘Dark’ Christmas Story

–  ‘New Year’ Story

Put Your Work In Front Of Publishers/Agents

We are currently working closely with publishers and literary agents whilst co-ordinating submissions from internationally-published authors and the site will promote stories from both published and unpublished authors. As a result unpublished authors can expect that their work will be viewed by both publishers and literary agents.
