Tragic Christmas: December 12th

Tragic Christmas

Stand Up Tragedy is returning with Tragic Christmas on Thursday 12th December at the Dogstar in Brixton.

Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/215735955261699/

Tragic Christmas

We have an amazing line-up as the poster shows but both Felicity Ward and Richard Tyrone Jones have confirmed since we put out the posters so I wanted to flag them both up.
The night is a fundraiser for Arts Emergency and we will be celebrating the tragic side of the festive season with laughter, tears, sing-a-longs and traumatic childhood memories. Tis the season for Catharsis!

Stand Up Tragedy 2014:

In 2014 Stand Up Tragedy is going monthly, alternating between the Dogstar in Brixton and the Hackney Attic so we can spread tragedy all around London. In August we are going to be returning to the Edinburgh Festival as part of the Free Fringe.

We aren’t just going monthly we are making each show themed. We have already booked in some really exciting acts for next year. Our January show is Tragic Beginnings at the Hackney Attic on Friday 17th.

We’re also expanding what we do to include a monthly fanzine that will accompany the live shows. We are accepting short pieces of writing (under 400 words) and pictures for the fanzine (send to upstandingtragedy@gmail.com). We will also be producing Stand Up Tragedy related video content. And our podcast will remain weekly although with a format change. Check out our podcast via iTunes, Stitcher or our soundcloud page: https://soundcloud.com/standuptragedy
